Maarten Vanden Eynde
Maarten Vanden Eynde (born 1977 in Leuven, Belgium) lives and works between Brussels and Saint-Mihiel, in France. He studied free media at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam (2000), attended the Mountain School of Arts in Los Angeles (2006), obtained a postgraduate degree at the Higher Institute for Fine Arts (HISK) in Ghent (2009), and earned a doctorate at the University of Bergen, in Norway (2024). The practice of Maarten Vanden Eynde is embedded in long term research projects that focus on numerous subjects of social and political relevance such as post-industrialism, capitalism and ecology.
