Léa Belooussovitch
Léa Belooussovitch was born in 1989 in Paris, France. She currently lives and works in Brussels, Belgium. She studied in Paris, notably at the École Supérieure Estienne and the Ateliers de Sèvres, before earning her degree from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Visuels de La Cambre in Belgium in 2014.

Her solo exhibitions include Lisières, presented at the Cellier – Centre for Contemporary Art in Reims, France (2023-2024), Feelings on Felt at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Saint-Étienne, France (2021), Perp Walk at the Botanique in Brussels, Belgium (2019), and Purple Blanket at the Centre for Contemporary Art Image/Imatge in Orthez, France (2019).

Léa Belooussovitch’s works have also been exhibited in numerous international institutions, including the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Saint-Étienne (France), ARTER Museum in Istanbul (Turkey), the Belfius Collection in Brussels (Belgium), the FRAC Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand (France), CENTRALE for Contemporary Art in Brussels (Belgium), the Royal Museums of Fine Arts in Brussels (Belgium), Les Tanneries – Centre for Contemporary Art in Amilly (France), and Bandjoun Station in Bandjoun (Cameroon), among others.

The artist’s works are part of numerous public and private collections, such as MAMC+ (Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Saint-Étienne Métropole) in France, the Ixelles Museum in Belgium, the National Bank of Belgium, the Parliament of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, Cloud Seven (Belgium), FRAC Auvergne (France), the Belfius Collection (Belgium), the Thalie Foundation (Belgium), and the Omer Koç Collection in Turkey.
